Performing a proper requirements analysis is one of the most critical steps in achieving a successful implementation. Introducing a new Accounting System or performing any customization to an existing Accounting System can be challenging. Ascend can employ a combination of methods including holding interviews, work group discussions with all involved parties, completing a detailed Requirements Analysis form, and prototyping as required. Requirements must be actionable, measurable, testable, related to identified business needs or opportunities, and defined to a level of detail sufficient for system design. Requirements can be functional and non-functional.
